Nepean Rubber & Plastics
Founded in 1982, Nepean Rubber & Plastics is an Australian manufacturer of rubber, plastic, and polyurethane components for demanding industrial applications. What began as a small family-run operation has grown into one of Australia’s largest privately owned custom moulders, supporting customers nationwide. For more than four decades, Nepean has supplied components used across mining, transport, marine, construction, industrial OEM, and infrastructure environments where reliability, durability, and consistency matter.
WHAT WE DO
Engineering-Led Approach
Nepean operates from a purpose-built Sydney facility spanning approximately 28,000 square metres. Our manufacturing infrastructure supports both high-volume production and technically specialised components.
We manufacture rubber and plastic components through compression, transfer, and injection moulding, supported by in-house rubber mixing and compounding. Plastic injection moulding and rubber extrusion capabilities allow precise control over materials, dimensions, and performance across a wide range of industrial applications.
We design and manufacture wear and screening products for mining and industrial operations, including screen media, wear panels, liners, impact bars, and polyurethane components. These systems are engineered to manage impact, abrasion, and continuous operation while extending equipment service life.
We develop custom engineered components using rubber, plastic, and metal combinations. In-house bonding, tooling, and fabrication enable precision assemblies, vibration-control systems, and engineered rubber parts designed to meet specific mechanical and environmental requirements.
We provide assembly services, part identification through pad printing, and technical support backed by NATA-accredited testing. These services simplify installation, support traceability, and ensure products meet required quality and performance standards.
